GrandMaster Saul Kim

GrandMaster Saul Kim, an 8th degree black belt in Tang Soo Do and Hap Ki Do is a dedicated leader and teacher of Tang Soo Do. He was trained directly by his father, the late GrandMaster Jae Joon Kim, Dan #38. Grandmaster S Kim was awarded 1st degree black belt at the age of 12. He has competed in and won over 100 tournaments, trophies and medals from 1971 through 1982. This includes the Grand Championship in MadisonSquare Garden, directed by Henry Cho in 1973. He has over 33 years of experience teaching Tang Soo Do. During his lifetime, he regularly accompanied his father traveling the world conducting seminars and Dan testing. Grandmaster S Kim, upon his father’s passing, desired tocontinue his father work and assumed control of the World Traditional Tang Soo Do Federation. As a dedicated instructor, he continues to travel throughout the organization’s schools sharing Tang Soo Do by conducting seminars and Dan testing. Along with his siblings, Nam, Saul, Eric and his daughter Shim (all masters and instructors), Grandmaster Kim will continue to develop the Korean Art of Moo Duk Kwan Tang Soo Do for all.
